"Four Play is so named because it is catchy, and the showcase takes place over four days. Each day there is a new play or plays.
Thursday night, for instance, features a full-length play, The Fourth Wife by Virginia O’Dine, and each of the other showtimes have two plays each.
Danny Galea, one of the Four Play coordinators, explained that it originally started as one submission from a longtime SST member, and then other people had pieces they wanted to do that did not fit in the regular season. It has evolved since then."

Every day a different play! Audiences will be treated to a showcase of lightly rehearsed readings of plays by local playwrights.
Join us June 5-8, 2025 on Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2pm at The South Simcoe Theatre (1 Hamilton Street, Cookstown)
General admission tickets will be available at the door (Pay-What-You-Wish)
