I Hate Hamlet

This comedy tells the story of a mildly successful actor with a new and beautiful New York apartment, loving girlfriend, and an offer to play Hamlet. But there are problems - his hit TV show got cancelled, his girlfriend won’t have sex with him, and his apartment is inhabited by the ghost of John Barrymore, who is on a personal mission to have Andrew fulfill his destiny as Hamlet, rather than return to TV acting. This engaging story will keep audiences laughing throughout.

Every day a different play! Audiences will be treated to a showcase of lightly rehearsed readings of plays by local playwrights. This Canadian comedy centres around a fairground in Killaloe, Ontario which is home to the annual Wayne Rose Memorial Chili Cook Off, where Killaloe residents come each year to compete for the honour and the cash prize. The most determined of these is Ava Rose, who has tried (and failed) to win for sixteen years. This year, with the help of a new assistant, Ava returns to battle her former childhood friend and rival. If she can piece together her late father's missing Five Alarm Chili recipe she might just piece together the mysteries of her past.

The townsfolk of Camelot, ruled over by King Uther, are awaiting the arrival of Guinevere, who is betrothed to the King's son, Prince Arthur. However, evil sorceress Morgan Le Fay and her nasty counterpart Valerin the Vicious have other plans - to kidnap Guinevere, imprison her in a castle in the enchanted forest and prevent her from marrying Prince Arthur, but, as in all good pantomimes - goodness prevails.
