Donor Program

As a donor at any level, you will be part of a community of givers, who care, like you do, about this theatre and the impact it has on the arts in our community. 

 

It is through your generosity that we are able to bring the power of theatre to our local community and beyond. Your contributions are vital to the success of The South Simcoe Theatre and we are truly grateful for you.

Every time you see that curtain rise, remember: the success of community theatre takes the support of people just like you. Your donations make it possible for new audiences to fall in love with us!

Donation Level
$1000+

If you would like to make a donation at this level, please contact The President at info@thesouthsimcoetheatre.com for more information.

Designer’s Circle
$250 - $499
  • tax receipt for the total value of the donation

  • thank you note from a member of a cast or production team

  • recognition in “Designer’s Circle” donor section of all print and online programs

  • 2 tickets to any show in the current season, (value $44)

  • 2 SST beverage cups

Ensemble
$1 - $99
  • tax receipt for the total value of the donation

  • recognition in “Ensemble" donor section of all print and online programs

Producer’s Circle
$500 - $999
  • thank you note from a member of a cast or production team

  • recognition in “Producer’s Circle” donor section of all print and online programs for the season

  • 2 transferrable current season subscriptions for 3 main season productions (value $114)*

  • 2 transferrable refreshment vouchers for use at any show (value $6)*

  • 2 SST beverage cups

  • tax receipt for the donation, less any valued advantages* accepted.

*PLEASE NOTE – In accordance with Canada Revenue Agency requirements, if all advantages are accepted by the Producer’s Circle donor, the tax receipt is issued for the total amount of the donation, less any stated value of the advantages. Some or all of the advantages may be declined. Eg. If valued advantages are accepted ($120) this amount will be deducted from the tax receipt.

 

All sponsor advantages are valid for the current season only.

Stage Crew
$100 - $249
  • tax receipt for the total value of the donation

  • thank you note from a member of a cast or production team

  • recognition in “Stage Crew” donor section of all print and online programs

  • 2 SST beverage cups

Payment Arrangements

If you wish to make a donation of $500 or greater, please email: info@thesouthsimcoetheatre.com or contact the Box Office at: 705-458-4432 to make payment arrangements and to receive your donor advantages.


Donations of $499 or less can be made by e-transfer to:

Please include your full name, including middle initial, and address in the memo box of your e-transfer if you wish to receive a receipt. We will be in touch to make arrangements for you to receive your donor advantages.

As a season or individual show sponsor, you will be part of a community of givers, who care, like you do, about this theatre and the impact it has on the arts in our community. 

 

The support you provide at the sponsorship level directly impacts our ability to face the challenges ahead as we work to bring to life a new season on our stage. Your contributions are vital to ensuring the continued success of The South Simcoe Theatre and we couldn’t be more grateful.

  • name/logo placement on production posters for all 5 productions 

  • name/logo placement on sponsor recognition poster in the theatre

  • name/logo placement on the title page of each program for all productions

  • photo opportunity for social media and website posting (if sponsor wishes) 

  • if sponsor is a business, a free full page ad in all print and online programs for the season (value $300)*

  • certificate of appreciation

  • newsletter recognition

  • 1 souvenir show poster from each current season production and a hard copy program

  • recognition in donor section of program as “Director’s Circle” member

  • social media and website placement throughout the season 

  • private tour of the theatre at the sponsor’s convenience

  • 2 transferrable current season subscriptions for 3 main season productions (value $114)* 

  • 4 transferrable tickets to the 2023 That December Show!
    (value $72)* 

  • 2 transferrable refreshment vouchers for each current main season production and That December Show! (4 shows for a total of 8 vouchers - value $24)* 

  • 4 SST beverage cups

  • an invitation to the private opening night wine and cheese reception with cast and production team for 3 current main season productions and That December Show!

  • tax receipt for the donation less any valued advantages* accepted

*PLEASE NOTE - In accordance with Canada Revenue Agency requirements, if all advantages are accepted by the sponsor, the tax receipt is issued for the total amount of the donation, less any stated value of the advantages. Some or all of the advantages may be declined. Eg. If valued advantages are accepted ($510) this amount will be deducted from the tax receipt.

Individual Show Sponsorship - $1000 (Artists’ Circle)
  • name/logo placement on production poster of the show they sponsor

  • name/logo placement on the title page in the program of the show that you sponsor 

  • name/logo placement on sponsor recognition poster in the theatre

  • photo opportunity for social media and website posting (if sponsor wishes) 

  • if sponsor is a business, a free half page ad in all print and online programs for the season (value $200)*

  • certificate of appreciation

  • newsletter recognition

  • 1 souvenir show poster from the production you sponsor and a hard copy program

  • recognition in the donor section of the program as “Artists’ Circle” member

  • social media, website, and show program placement specific to the show that you sponsor 

  • private tour of the theatre at the sponsor’s convenience

  • 2 transferrable current season subscriptions for 3 main season productions (value $114)*

  • 2 transferrable refreshment vouchers for the show that they sponsor (value $6)*

  • 2 SST beverage cups

  • an invitation to the private opening night wine and cheese reception with cast and production team for the show that you sponsor

Individual show sponsorships are available for all five productions however if sponsoring for Four Play, there is no opening night reception.

 

We will accept more than one show sponsor and more than one season sponsor.
