Excerpt from the article:
"Every family is a little different.
Some families support each other whether right or wrong, however, others can’t seem to ever get along.
In The South Simcoe Theatre’s production of Having Hope At Home, a young couple makes a decision which they know will clash with the woman’s family values.
Written by David S. Craig, produced by Nancy Chapple Smokler, and directed by Candy Pryce, the play looks at a family dynamic run amok."
About “Having Hope at Home”
Having Hope at Home is a Canadian comedy by playwright David S. Craig. On a cold winter night, in a drafty Ontario farmhouse, a baby is about to arrive and modern medicine meets midwifery in a torrent of family feuding. Tensions rise between three stubborn generations but so does laughter. This heart-warming story of forgiveness and hope reminds us that sometimes the human heart takes the longest way home.
Recommended for ages 13+ (some adult themes and mild language).
Having Hope at Home runs February 28 - March 16, 2025 Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 2 pm.
