About the Workshop:
Have you always wanted to know what a Stage Manager actually does? Interested in becoming involved in backstage work? Come and join in STAGE MANAGEMENT FOR COMMUNITY THEATRE with Lesley Coo to discover the exact details of a stage manager’s job and what skills you need to be a successful SM. The workshop combines small and large group hands-on activities along with practical, real-life examples. Participants will receive a handout package of production materials.
What to Bring/Wear:
Comfortable clothes and indoor shoes
A water bottle
A lunch / snack
A notebook and pen/pencil

Meet your Instructor - Lesley Coo
Lesley has been a stage manager and assistant stage manager for The South Simcoe Theatre, Burro’d Theatre, Theatre by the Bay, Theatre Georgian Bay, King Theatre Company and Theatre Orangeville (CPOS). She has facilitated previous Stage Management workshops. She is currently the Vice-President of The South Simcoe Theatre.
