Ming the Merciless, is our villain. Flash Gordon (among others) is our hero. And, of course you can’t have a panto without Snow White and her seven aliens. What?! Yep! Zany, I know.
Come on out and audition for SST’s 2023 - That December Show – Snow White and the 7 Aliens. Our panto is a wonderful platform for first time performers, and seasoned performers who want to try something different. (No divas, please – tee, hee). You will experience what it’s like to act, sing and dance – all at the same time! And, learn the art of breaking that fourth wall and not forget your lines. Tee, hee. And, to experience the feeling of absolute joy when you hear kids, and adults, giggling in the audience. What true community theatre is all about. A sense of collaboration and oneness with the audience and performers.
Speaking of collaboration. If performing isn’t your thing, we can always use your skills in the disciplines of: stage management, set design, costuming etc. All levels. Those who want to learn, and those who can bring a wealth of knowledge and experience.
We ask that you contact Producer, Kathy Simpson at tabernackles8@hotmail.com to book an audition time, and if you have any questions. Be prepared to sing a little ditty (accompaniment will not be available), and we’ll have you cold read from the script. Age restriction 14+.
