Rehearsal Information:

Our first meeting/read-through will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024 (6:30-10 pm). Rehearsals will begin on Thursday, August 22 (7–10 pm) and continue on Monday/Thursday evenings (7-10 pm) and Sundays (2-6 pm). Sunday evening rehearsals from 6 to 9 pm may be added the month prior to opening. We will endeavour to release our young cast members early on weeknights. During tech week, dress rehearsals will be held on Monday and Tuesday, October 28th and 29th (6:30-10 pm). Young cast members will be needed for the entire time. Cast members must declare any potential rehearsal date conflicts on the audition form. This will be taken into consideration when casting. NB: If you are cast, and your conflict dates change substantially from the information provided at the time of casting in such a way that it interferes with your ability to attend rehearsals regularly, The South Simcoe Theatre reserves the right to withdraw the casting offer.

As this cast will include actors under 18 years of age, all actors and production team members aged 18 and over, will be required to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) prior to the first rehearsal. If you are cast, you will be provided with the information on how to obtain one and the required submission date.

In keeping with Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit guidelines, this theatre will comply with any mandated health regulations.

The South Simcoe Theatre encourages inclusion and representation in all its endeavours. Everyone is welcome both on stage and off. In that spirit, we encourage diversity in our casting process.
