THE SOUTH SIMCOE THEATRE IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE CAST OF OUR SPRING MUSICAL, PIPPIN


What a treat the auditions were on Sept. 6 and 7; so much talent and enthusiasm were displayed by the auditionees! And the callbacks last weekend only added to the selection committee’s challenge of finalizing the cast of this classic show.


We would like to thank everyone who prepared so well for their audition and who made the trek to Cookstown.

Director/Choreographer: Scott Hurst The 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Pippin is the story of one young man's journey to be extraordinary. Heir to the Frankish throne, the young prince Pippin is in search of the secret to true happiness and fulfillment. He seeks it in the glories of the battlefield, the temptations of the flesh and the intrigues of political power. In the end, though, Pippin finds that happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavours, but rather in the un-extraordinary moments that happen every day.


Recommended for ages 13 and up (some adult themes.)
