Cast Announcement: THE GRAVITATIONAL PULL OF BERNICE TRIMBLE

Our audition team was delighted with the talent that turned up for the auditions on August 18th and 19th . We want to take this opportunity to thank the auditionees for their interest in working with The South Simcoe Theatre, and for taking the time to prepare strong auditions. We were very impressed.

Our cast is a super talented, strong one that is going to light up the stage for our audience members. We have some SST newcomers, as well as some faces that will be very familiar to you.

Of course, a show wouldn’t be nearly as fabulous without the talent and dedication of the production team. Their job is to make the cast look and sound good – and they will! We have filled all but one position, so if you have a desire to try the job, please reach out. No experience is needed.

We thank everyone who took the time to audition and extend a warm welcome to our incredible cast, including 6 newcomers, to The South Simcoe Theatre stage!

About “Cinderella...If The Shoe Fits”

This All-Canadian panto was written and produced for Theatre Orangeville where it debuted to critical acclaim in 2023. It is true to traditional panto-style theatrics, with lots of puns, the use of the panto “dame”, audience interaction, local and political references, outrageous gender-bending characters, physical comedy and straight-up hilarity. This witty, modern musical twist on the classic fairy tale follows Cinderella as she challenges expectations, outsmarts her enemies, and discovers that true happiness comes from being herself. Packed with comedy, heart, and surprising turns, it’s a feel-good story about courage, kindness, and choosing your own path.

Be sure to get your tickets for this family friendly production. We guarantee you lots of laughs.

Recommended for ages 5 and up.

Cinderella...If The Shoe Fits runs Nov. 13th to 29th on Friday/Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm. One exception: Sat., Nov. 21 st is a 2 pm show.
