Meet Ian Walsh
Fight Director/Stage Combat Instructor
Over the years he has studied under various Fight Instructors, Directors and Masters through Fight Directors Canada and other Fight Associations from around the world. While at the University of Windsor for theatre, he was even advised by guest artist F. Braun McAsh (Highlander: The Series, Endgame). As well as serving as Fight Director in a number of productions, Ian has often taken the role of Fight Director for the Theatre Orangeville Young Company and was the Stage Combat Program Director at the Centauri Summer Arts Camp for 4 years. Ian also runs his own company, Blackthorn Productions which specializes in Presentations of Medieval Life as well as teaching Stage Combat in Ontario High Schools and to the general public. Ian is also a member of ACTRA and CAEA.
Meet Graham Banville
Certified Actor-Combatant with Fight Directors Canada
From Barrie, Graham is a certified actor-combatant with Fight Directors Canada. He is a drama graduate of Queen's University and trained in stage combat at Rapier Wit. Recently, he worked as fight director for Romeo and Juliet (Theatre Georgian Bay, 2022) and performed in Guys in the Garage (Meaford Theatre Company, 2022).
